Noah’s Ark

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a drawing of Noah’s Ark in response to the Daily Post’s photo challenge. I didn’t post my final watercolor painting since the friend who had asked me to do it planned to give it as a gift. Now that the recipient has received the gift, here is my final painting.

  1. Wow, Ruth, I clicked on this to see a close-up and I cannot believe the way you built communication into this tiny painting. I love the movement, too. It’s incredible that the turtles seem slow, the penguins converse, the bunnies frolic, the pelicans are truly in flight . . .
And I surely do like the bi-color elephant! 🙂
You have thought a long time and done your research, it is obvious.
The new owner ought to be so happy!

I'm interested in hearing what you think!
