Abandoned, watercolor, 5” x 7”

We see abandoned duck blinds all over the Chesapeake Bay. It seems that there is at least one in every cove where we have anchored. Even new, they are deliberately shaggy and camouflaged, but they quickly deteriorate in the sun and storms. Although we have lived here for nine years, we have never seen anyone in this blind, which is across the creek from my studio. I thought that this was a fitting subject for today’s World Watercolor Month prompt of “Forgotten.”
