Black-eyed Susans are the state flower for Maryland, and I was admiring them in the center median of the highway earlier as I was driving. And as today’s World Watercolor Month prompt is round, I decided to paint some since the flower shape is a circle of petals with a round center. These are from my stepmother’s garden, where they and their siblings bloom in a golden patch by the street.
